I can finally see my fingers again! I went this morning and they traded out those lovely plaster casts for some bandaging and soft casts. The doctors there who saw the casts all commented on how lovely the artwork was, so thank you Annie. I'm mostly healed but not quite yet. I don't have full range of motion yet, and I won't for a bit longer yet. But luckily, the doctor says I seem to heal a bit on the faster side.

See kids, that's what happens when you drink a lot of milk. Stronger, healthier, quick to heal bones.

So these programs that can type out what you say? A fantastic invention. Thanks for the help, Lyndsey. I would still be woefully unable to communicate with you all still without having to actually come by and see you.

Now if only there were programs that could help me do everything else at the moment. . . anyway.

Unfortunately, I won't be any help for cooking Thanksgiving dinner--which I really hate actually. Cooking big dinners is one of my favorite things. But, I'll still be joining in the eating part if that's alright with everyone.

Paris holds the key to l'amour!
And not even Freud knows the cure.
    There's love in the air!
    At the Follies Begere!
The French have it down to an art!
Paris hold the key to your heart!

Such a catchy song, and you know, I've never seen the movie before. It's sweet.

It's funny, you know. Most everyone says time heals all things, but I guess they don't say is that it doesn't necessarily heal them the exact way they were.

You know, as much of a fan as I used to be about Halloween, I can honestly say I'm just not that interested more with the getting dressed up or any of that. It's one of the reasons I'm glad I don't have a job where they might make me get dressed up or something like that.

I plan on spending my Halloween watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, The Witches, and Casper and calling it a night. I'll leave the sugar rush to everyone else.

Do you know when you get exceedingly happy about something and you find you can't stay still for even a minute? Where it's really hard to avoid going Dancing in the Streets like that song always says? Where you need to find something to occupy you or else risk lighting a lot of shit on fire--

Well, that's pretty much how I'm feeling. And I've decided on an outlet for said energy--I'm going to make some desserts. Which of course, means, I need some people to eat them--because if I eat them, then I'll lose my girlish figure and no one will want me anymore.

Anyway, right now I'm planning on some Pecan Pie, some Mississippi Mud Cake, and some Old South Strawberry Shortcake. I'm open to suggestions of course. Oh, and if you join me while baking, I might be able to whip up some Bananas Fosters too.

Trust me, if you haven't had Southern desserts, you have yet to live my friends.

Why is it that when you have tattoos, everyone thinks you're in a gang or a hoodlum of some kind? People can get tattoos for reasons other than to show off how many homies they've busted a cap in and all that.

If some of these people actually looked at what a tattoo design was, they might understand that. I mean, how could you possibly mistake mine for a gang symbol? Unless I was in one of those Asian gangs that for some reason decided a Southern boy was just who they wanted in their ranks.

Why can't someone have a tattoo that is just beautiful and meaningful without it being looked down at? It's not as though most of the people now even know where the term came from and the stigma of the word from it's early origins.

Merde--does anyone have any burn cream. I've got a pretty bad one and well, you know me, hospitals are so overrated for this type of thing. I have enough bandages but it seems I forgot to get more when I ran out of the salve last time. If you have some, you will earn my undying love and devotion in return.

Dash, I began research. I have a couple possibles but they don't seem quite right. I'll keep you posted. Seems you have bigger fish to fry anyway--come to think of it, if frying is the way you're looking to go, I can probably come up with something.

    bio

    woices like wind...
    wordless their whispers...
    i hear them!
wandering alone, strayed form the path
lost in the gales of despair
i see the shades wasting their last dreams
hiding their woes... just for themselves
    only with fear as remains
yet free you always can be and dreams like ravens return
some minds like diamonds survive, again will the fire burn
    strain in the air...
    like crystal bells...
    now listen!
deep in your mind search once again
    magical essence is there!
i brought my flame back from the shadows, lost in the cold darks of this world
will is the power i hail!
yet free you always can be and dreams like ravens return
    some minds like diamonds survive

again the fire will burn )
